That’s Silly! And other Silly Shenanigans …

“That’s silly!” This is one of Monkey’s new favorite phrases. And there’s a hand chopping sort of motion that goes with it. Another phrase which has a similar gesture but the palm faces you at the end is, “Don’t say that!” (Take a guess why he’s learned this one.)

He’s still saying the “Oh sure” which cracks me up. Especially when he picks up his toy phone and says, “Hello? Oh sure. Bye.”

Other Monkey silly shenanigans …

What would a trip to Home Depot be without a test drive on a mower?

Mower! Vrooom!

Mower! Vrooom!

“Wanna ride the horse?” He meant Dino. :)

Wanna ride the horse?

After picking him up from daycare the other day, I was exhausted and flopped on the couch for some R&R. Monkey played with his trains and I started looking at Facebook on my phone. I must have been quite engrossed in the status updates that day because I didn’t even notice Monkey going in the kitchen, opening the freezer and getting out this:

Helping himself to Edy's

Helping himself to Edy's

Yes, that’s a container of Edy’s he has dragged onto our dining room floor and eating out of with his bare hands.

I like doing these “segments” and think I might call them Silly Shenanigans!

BTW, apologies for the sideways pictures. I’m too lazy tonight to figure out why WordPress is changing the orientation of them.
