It’s been a while since I’ve done a Monkey update, so here we go.
He’s really catching on in the language department and putting two words together. Mostly, “More” and then the thing he wants more of, but it’s a start.
He says really cute things like, “yeah” in a super sly slow tone and other things like “noonal” which means “noodle”. A pig says “moo” in our house and the frogs all grunt (I guess “ribbit” sounds like a grunt to him).
He’s turning in circles now (literally) and likes to play the “fall down” game. The Fall Down game is where he takes a few steps and then “falls down” and says “Uh Oh” or just giggles and waits for our reaction.
Monkey is getting REALLY tall. Still a little underweight because of the GERD thing, he’s really a slender little guy. We’re hoping though that his next pediatric GI visit proves that he’s gaining enough weight to come off of the Zantac for good.
Monkey is a climber and has figured out how to climb our bathtub and get onto the bathroom sink. We’re still not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Well, I’m not. DH definitely thinks it’s a bad thing especially since he can’t remember to put things like his razor away.
That’s the update for now. If I think of more later, I may update.
Hope everyone had a good holiday!
Merry (belated) Christmas!
He’s really growing up! I hope he had a good Christmas and got some good stuff.
My little one also loves to spin around, then take a step or two and fall down. It’s so cute, and something I remember loving to do too!
