My last few posts have been very serious and very depressing so I figured it was time for a happy post.
This year I’m in pretty good shape. Not fantastic but pretty good. All of the gifts but two I ordered online have come in the mail. And the two that didn’t can wait because we are not seeing the recipients of those gifts until after Christmas. So WIN.
I still have a good amount of time to wrap, bake cookies, etc. So WIN.
DH and I are working from home on Christmas Eve for a half day and using the other half to plan and shop for the Christmas meal since we are hosting at our house. WIN.
Hope all of you are faring well this Holiday season!
P.S. Sorry for the “WIN”s. DH’s vernacular is rubbing off on me.
I like the WINs! hehe. That’s awesome that you are in such good shape this year!
You are in way better shape than I am. There will be no holiday baking or holiday cards this year. There is minimum decorations (all of which hubby put up). And I still have to finish buying presents before I leave for the inlaws tomorrow afternoon.
And all I want to do is sleep…
caramama — since you are pregnant I seriously wouldn’t worry about the stuff at all! During my first trimester and even the beginning of the second I didn’t do much for Xmas (I think you’re kinda on the same timeline I was). Don’t sweat it!
hehe yeah. holiday cards? maybe post new year’s cards for us…
good job with your organization this year!
I’m so envious that you’ll be staying home and Lil Monkey can have Christmas in his own house. We’ll be heading north to see the each fam and go to a Christening. *Sigh*
I love to see everyone, and there are many to see, but would also love to have Christmas here for DD. Maybe next year…
thanks for checking up on the cat!
